TABOR: The Apprentice’s Book of Reflections by D.B. GaNung
Excerpt from “Wealth, free information”
When rich people pump me for all my knowledge, I know they are through with me.
Then, because they are richer, I am supposed to quit the area, my usefulness exhausted,
and this always proves to have been an humbling but instructive experience from the rich
—who consequently rarely have any use for what they learned.
It is as if one is giving to one’s parents and then after the gift, one is disturbing them
by hanging around too long.
